The Role:

You will build the customer-facing interface to one of the first flagship hybrid Ethereum/Cosmos DeFi protocols designed to leverage the strengths of the combined platforms. You will use extensive javascript libraries, wireframes and UX patterns for this kind of hybrid application. You will enable a user experience that combines the best of Ethereum Web3 technologies and Cosmos technologies. You have a passion for cryptocurrency interfaces.

Responsibilities:

• Build coherent abstractions between Ethereum and Cosmos blockchains
• Implement and iterate on UX front-end functionality for PeggyJV launch application
• Partner with the infrastructure engineering team to ensure front-end functionality is delivered and working
• QA and test front-end implementation for ongoing launch dates

Requirements:

• 3+ years of web application development experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React experience strongly preferred)
• Proven ability to develop and maintain clean code that is both well-designed and well-documented.
• Mastery of HTTP/S protocol (security, cookies, sessions, header optimizations, CORS, etc.) and working with APIs
• Mastery of CSS and ability to transform static or interactive mocks into implementation with UI / UX precision and intuition
• Strong knowledge of UX design processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a voice for the users
• Experience with front end testing frameworks
• Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Be a humble team player that works well in a challenging but fun remote working environment
• Ability to see features through to completion and rapidly modify design as information changes
• You’re user-focused, passionate, scrappy, solutions-focused, and innovative.

Recommended:

• Proficiency with React and other client-side, JavaScript frameworks
• Experience with CRA2, Next.js, Redux and numerous CSS-in-JS solutions
